This is a great question and one that we spent a lot of time thinking about. In the end, our discord is necessary to create a central point of contact for players on the server; this helps us communicate, advertise, and promote general awareness of what's going on in and around the Minecraft server. However, we do two things to encourage players to explore: one, we have very limited chat channels for players here, and the primary source of discussion is the server itself. Two, we encourage you to post your channel's discord, so that players can reach your community as well!

Nope! The only requirement for being a Creator is that you make content actively and want your community to have a Minecraft server to hang out in!

No! There is absolutely no pressure to log into the server or be active at all! If you want to take a break or simply don’t play Minecraft that's okay! Please note that if you take a break from uploading content for a minimum of 2 months, we will reach out to check on you & your status on CozyCraft. We understand life happens and want to continue to keep things running smoothly for you and for everyone else!

As a creator, you have limited moderation powers:
/vanish will allow you to go invisible when you are making content on the server. We know there can be a lot of distractions and we want to be as creator-friendly as possible!
/mute will prevent the player from sending anything in chat. This is helpful if a player is being verbally abusive.
/jail will teleport the player to a "holding cell" at spawn, preventing them from chatting or using commands. They will only be able to move within the confines of their cell.
These are the moderation commands available to affiliates, and their use is optional. If you are uncomfortable using these commands, please feel free to ignore them entirely. If you use these commands, please immediately report the incident to any CozyCraft staff member/open a ticket with screenshots (if possible). We will investigate and take it from there!
Use /creators in the server to see these commands at any time!

Absolutely! You can record videos of yourself and your friends/community members playing on the server anytime. Enter /creators in-game for more information!
